Introducing... the Clearance Rack!

Stampin' Up! is launching a new section of the online store called the Clearance Rack! The purpose of the Clearance Rack is to clear out the inventory of surplus items that have been retired. Many of these retired items will be offered at a substantially reduced price... up to 80% off! To take advantage of these great deals, head over to my store, click the "Shop Now" button and you'll find the "Clearance Rack" on the left side of the store! Hurry, though... these deals are only available online and while supplies last!

More Details:
  • The clearance rack is not a promotion. It will launch September 29, 2009 but does not have a set end date.
  • All products in the Clearance Rack section are retired, discontinued items. No current products will be sold in the Clearance Rack.
  • Clearance Rack items are only available while supplies last. Items will be removed and new items will be posted depending on inventory levels. There is no set time for availability.
  • Clearance Rack items will be listed and available only in the online store.
  • All sales of Clearance Rack items are final. No returns or exchanges will be accepted, except in the case of defective product.

My First MDS Project

I am very excited about getting the My Digital Studio Software, and I couldn't wait to install and play with it - just to show you how simple this software is, I did this page in about 15 minutes!
I used the Baroque Motiffs and Define Your Life stamp sets in the application. That's one thing that just ROCKS about this software... it comes stashed with the full line of SU colors, several DSPs, punches, embellishments, templates, and... STAMPS!
Stay tuned as I am sure to post many more projects with this software, and for those who are here locally, I will be scheduling a demo of the software in my home very soon. My Digital Studio "goes live" and is available to everyone October 1st!
Oh, and for more info on My Digital Studio, click here or check out the last page of the holiday mini!

September Club Projects

My favorite thing from the mini catalog has to be the Sweet Treat Cups and Sweet Centers Stamp Set! So, of course I had to use them in my clubs this month! We made these really cute candy "lollipops" with a pull-out tag that lets you get to the candy without destroying your creation!

Stamp Sets used: Sweet Centers (holiday mini) and Teeny Tiny Wishes.
Click here to download the Supply List and full set of instructions!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Various grunging and distressing techniques were the highlight of the card we made this month. Everyone just loved crumpling up Mr. Skully and taking out their frustrations on him! (poor guy) :o)

Stamp Sets Used: From the Crypt, Grateful Greetings (Holiday Mini)

Lots of Halloween Goodies!

I just LOVE Halloween! I had a blast making all of these great projects with the SU! products! Now's the time to get started on yours! Contact me or head over to my online store to get started today! :o)
This pumpkin bag was so fun to make! The two center pieces of the pumpkin were achieved by folding my carstock pieces in half and placing them on the edge of the top note die before running them through.

Supplies Used: Big Shot: Top Note Die, Birds & Blooms Sizzlets; Colors: Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green; Uniball Signo White Gel Pen.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
A cute little candy treat box! These fan flowers are so fun and easy to make! Click here to follow the tutorial for them on SCS! Click Here to download the pattern for the party popper box. Tip: I just used the shape and score lines as a guide and then I used the corner of my square punch to punch out the indentations!

Supplies Used: Batty for You Stamp Set; Cast-a-Spell DSP; Pumpkin Pie Patterns DSP; Color Scheme: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Perfect Plum, Old Olive; Punches: Scallop Edge, 1-3/8" Circle, 1-1/4" Square, Scallop Circle.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
I just love this "goth-inspired" card! I used the baby-wipe technique to get the multiple colors on the stamped image.

Supplies used: From the Crypt Stamp set, All Holidays Stamp set, Night & Day Specialty DSP (from Holiday mini), Colors: Basic Black, Whisper White & Riding Hood Red (Retired).
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
I love the Starbucks Frappaccino's and I usually save the bottles when I'm done. I used this one to make a cool candy bottle. I used Black Staz-on ink to stamp the spiders on the glass. I messed up several times, before I figured out I should quit trying to roll the stamp ont eh curvy parts of the bottle and just press firmly to get the rubber to go around it. Oh well... good thing I had some Staz-on Remover to wipe off my mistakes!

Supplies Used: From the Crypt Stamp Set; Cast-a-Spell DSP; 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in Old Olive; Color Scheme: Old Olive, Basic Black, Whisper White; Punches: Eyelet Border, Wide Oval, 1-3/8" Circle.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
I just came up with the "wrap around" design to go over a box of candy. Not much to it, and very easy to do! I used the Embossing Resist technique on Mr. Skully.

Supplies Used: From the Crypt Stamp Set, Grateful Greetings stamp set (from the mini); color Scheme: Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black, Old Olive.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
These were super easy and super fast candy treat bags! A couple of score lines in some cardstock, slap on a piece of DSP, wrap it around a cello bag with candy, add a stamped tag, some ribbon... and voila!

Supplies Used: From the Crypt Stamp Set; Grateful Greetings Stamp Set; Holiday Best Hostess Set; Cast-a-Spell DSP; 1-1/4" Strpied Grosgrain Ribbon (all colors)
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
These little halloween ornaments were also very easy and fun to make using the fanned flower technique.

Supplies Used: Batty for You stamp set; Punches: Scallop Edge, Scallop Circle, 1-3/8" Circle

August Club Projects

I'm sorry I have been completely MIA lately! August was a very hectic month for us here. All three of us were sick earlier in the month, we held William and his cousin's birthday party here at the house, and we had family in town!

I'm finally getting around to updating around here, and I'm going to start with a post of the projects we made in my clubs last month. We made a tri-shutter card and a monogram notepad using the cottage wall DSP. I fell in love with Rich Razzleberry after making these projects! :o)

You can download the full project supply & spec sheets at the end of this post!

Stamps Used: One of a Kind, Pocket Silhouettes, Contempo Alphabet
