Edited to add: There was concern expressed by a few about being able to stay the whole day… the camp is set up where you receive all of your kits with full instructions when you come through the door.  Then there are stations set up where you can stamp, diecut and emboss, and Then there are working tables where you can punch, cut and assemble.  If you cannot stay the whole day, you can certainly get there, grab your kits, stamp/diecut/emboss/punch your necessary parts, and then assemble them at home!  

June Club Projects with Tutorials

I never got around to posting the June club projects, so here they are now!

First was a birthday card using all of the new 2012-2014 in-colors: Gumball Green, Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse, and Primrose Petals. We used the Patterned Party and Itty Bitty Banners stamp sets with the coordinating Bitty banners framelit die. We also used the Large Scallop Edgelit die:

For our second project, we used the Clear Mount Stamp Cases and created a notepad holder:

We used the Pleasant Poppies stamp set to create the design for the outside cover along with patterned paper from the Polka Dot Parade DSP and designer series paper patterns stacks. We punched our butterflies using the new Elegant Butterfly punch.

On the inside we created a handy pocket (perfect for coupons) and added a few more butterfly touches with the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die and the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder:

Petite Purse Die

I have really enjoyed using the petite purse die! It is so easy to assemble, which is why it has been my "go to" die for a couple of recent projects where I had to make multiples!

These are the thank you gifts I made this month for my club members:

I love using window sheets for my treat boxes whenever I can! I filled these with either jelly beans or m&m's. Since these candies are so small, I used transparent tape at the two bottom side edges to make sure nothing fell out. I also used a small piece to make sure the flap stayed securely closed. With the thicker acetate, it is hard to get it to hold the rounded shape and stay closed. :-)

In place of the handle cut by the die, I chose to use some ribbon instead. The sentiment was stamped and punched using the lovely little labels stamp set and the coordinating little labels punch set.

I used the Boho Blossoms and Bird punches for the flower accents. When making multiple embellishments like these, I like to assemble and layer them like so on a strip of glue dots:

A second project I made with the petite purse die was a set of 80 treat bags for the teachers and staff at my son's school. Inside were a few star peppermints and a coupon for a free class of mine. I made them in all assorted colors coordinating with the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper:

July Club Projects

Hello, all! Well, I know it has been a very long time since I have posted, and I'm working on a solution to start blogging a lot more! I am currently testing out a few apps with my iPad (and this is one of them), so we will see how this goes!

So, to catch everyone up a bit... I recently started my monthly hostess club back up after taking a year off when my newest little man joined us. I have been so excited and happy to get back into the swing of things with all of my wonderful stampin' gals! This has also motivated me to get back into the world of blogging again! So, without any further ado... I will start things off with a post highlighting the projects for this month's club!

We did a great stamp-a-stack project using a single card design inspired by my upline, Alecia Connelly! So I took this layout and came up with 5 great cards using the 2011-2013 in-colors!  The layout is simple and clean, and yields beautiful results no matter how you spin it!  It utilizes the 3" x 3" scallop square from the Scallop Squares Duo Bigz Die centered at the top of a standard A2 card made from a 4.25 x 11" piece of card stock scored in half at 5.5".  Each element is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Retiring Stamp Sets Announced!

The long-awaited retiring stamp list has been released!  The retiring accessories list will be released April 25!

Click here to view the retiring items in my online store or click here to view and print a PDF version of the retiring stamp sets.  You will notice the list is quite long to make way for tons of new sets debuting in the brand new catty being released on June 1!

You will be able to purchase these stamps until May 31 only, then they are gone forever!

When the retiring accessories list is released, those items will only be available while supplies last.  So my recommendation is to review the stamp list and use the next few days to decide which sets you must have.  Remember, the stamp sets are guaranteed to be available until May 31 (although some sets may go on a brief backorder based on popularity). Then place a single order on the 25th for the stamp sets and accessories at one time.  Remember, accessories are only available while supplies last!

Oh, and while you are in the store, make sure you check out the Clearance Rack!  It was recently updated with new goodies!
